The company’s goal in bringing Iteamic on board was to create a world-class CRM solution that could compete and win against entrenched players like Salesforce.com and Siebel in the SMB market.
The company’s philosophy is creating value for everyone in the customer organization, not just the salesforce. To succeed, it was important to provide a more complete solution that goes beyond order closing, to follow orders based on a customer-defined fulfillment cycle. This includes tracking of gross and net profit, chargebacks, payments and commissions as well as revenue reports and sales forecasts.

Solution
Acting as a technology partner, Iteamic developed a web-based business application combining CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functionality into a single solution, which was seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Outlook. Iteamic also helped enhance the bank’s hosted CRM application with an improved user interface and web services integration with heavily-used desktop applications (MS- Office, MS-Outlook and QuickBooks).

Phase 1
- Product testing on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server with deployment using Web Server Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, IIS, and Resins
- CVS was used as the configuration management tool for multi-site development
- JFree Report was used to create various business intelligence reports
- The product is certified to run on Windows NT, Sun Solaris and Apple Mac and has been rigorously tested using Win Runner
Phase 2
- MS SmartClient application based on .NET technology
- ASP.NET and C# programming language with SQL Server 2000 as the database
- Application certification for Windows Server, tested using Win Runner
